More than 10 years intensive training and teaching at Vladimir Vasiliev’s school in Toronto.
For the first time in Belgium, Aleksandar Kostic, with his realistic, creative and intuitive teaching, will lead a 3 day seminar the Russian Martial Art ” Systema “. Training trips to Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg) expanded his knowledge and experience. At first place that were classes with Mikhail Rybko. While in Russia, he also visited Trappa as learned Slaviano-Goretskaya Borba, fist fighting by Gruntovsky, military style of A. Kadochnikov, and other Russian folk styles. Alex has also big experience in security business.
During the past few years he trained with fighters preparing for UFC, Price, Vale Tudo, NHB and other ‘open style’ competitions. Being philosopher by education and vocation, he is very interested in physical, psycho-physical and Slavic aspect of the Systema approach to life.

SEMINAR HOUSE (max 34 people)
The Seminar House is a restored farm house, accomodates 34 people and is reserved exclusively for seminar participants.
Price is 30€ (for Friday night + Saturday night + breakfast) but you have to bring your sleeping bag (and pillow). It will be open on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday morning. It is also the meeting point for the Saturday night gettogether with Alex.
Facilities : plenty of parking space, kitchen, bunkbeds, toilets, showers, sitting area, events area, covered terras,..
For insurance and legal reasons we cannot exceed the limit of 34 people.
We provide basic breakfast (coffee, milk, bread, chocolate spread, marmelade, butter).

Maxim Franz was born in 1970 in the southern Ural region of Russia. He served as a sniper in the Russian Navy in a Special Marine Brigade serving from the late 80’s to the early 90’s, Maxim trained and participated in assignments throughout the former Soviet Union as part of the Special Expeditionary Battalion. Maxim came to Toronto, Canada in 1998 and became a citizen of Canada in 2002, and has trained directly with Systema co-founder Vladimir Vasiliev since 1998. Maxim is certified to teach all aspects of Systema and has represented Systema Headquarters all over the world in seminars across Canada, USA, Australia, Mexico and Japan to civilians and special forces.
Rainer Franz will instruct kids Systema from the perspective of a child taught at the highest levels, under the guidance of his father. Rainer has a good understanding of Systema principles, posture, breathing, relaxation and movement. Rainer has had the rare and unique opportunity of training directly under Vladimir Vasiliev, his father Max, and other Senior Systema Instructors and students at Systema HQ since 2007. Rainer has good striking capability, ground work, knife defense and some knowledge of Systema tactical transitioning with weapons (.22, 9mm,.45 cal. handguns). Rainer teaches younger students 7 – 11 years of age to help his father and his personal development.
Day 2 will be an outdoor training experience not to be missed.Learn how to move over uneven terrain with a weapon, transitioning from all ranges, including the ground.

Andreas Weitzel has been training in combat sports (free wrestling) and martial arts (combat Sambo) from an early age, and is been training in Systema for the last 17 years. He was a student of Systema founder, Michael Ryabko, Sergei Borschow and Valentin Talanov and he still trains regularly with them. Antreas is a professional Systema trainer, head of the European Systema Association – ESA) and director of the first Systema school in Germany, the RSMA Academy in Augsburg; in his school, he teaches weaponless self defense and historical European fencing. He is also authorized to travel, teach seminars and represent Systema in Germany and Europe.
Seminar Content: ground fighting – defense from punches – wrestling – escape from holds – knife throwing.
